The hinged lid with piqué work and inset bone decoration, the interior decorated with a twin mast ship and inscribed "JAS, WHITE, June 11th 1824, the other boxes including a cowhorn bicorn hat snuff box, the rear with a hinged lid with pressed Napoleonic commemorative inscription, a pressed tortoiseshell circular snuff box, the lid with a pressed figure of Napoleon, a carved treen box and cover, the lid with twin bird and crowned shield decoration, a steel miniature snuff of rectangular form with raised classical figural and incuse dog decoration, a cast metal pierced trinket box, the cover with recumbent dog finial, two miniature treen snuffs and a further carved treen piece, the first snuff, 11cm wide, the other snuffs and boxes of various sizes (9)
