Interesting manuscript, narrated in the first person by the Count of Aranda, without signature but dated in Madrid, January 24, 1758 (contemporaneous and similar to that of the BNE with signature MSS/11104); Different topics related to military activity in Málaga, Seville, Cádiz, Aragón, San Sebastián, Catalonia, Navarra, Peñíscola, Santander, etc. are dealt with in the text. The manuscript ends: "... so that without wasting time the pieces could be put in a state of service, making my governmental precautions for it, and above all, either I am Chief of Artillery or I am not. Reflection. The manifested inconsistencies in the three cases deducted due to the effect of the new year, and the fatal principle of which I am being disposed of, that my recovery of my authority, decorum and well-being of the Royal Service can hope for a remedy".
