Description

The ewer is sturdily potted with an oviform body surmounted by a tall cylindrical neck that rises to a canted mouth rim, a C-form strap handle and a slightly curved spout, and is painted in brown with two flower sprays with combed details on a white slip under a clear glaze that ends irregularly on the flared foot to expose the buff ware.
