Description

The first of a flower seller, working on a display of irises and other plants in three vases on a stand, signed on the base with chiselled characters Kazuhiko to above a square seal Udagawa sei, ; the second of a farmer tripping over vegetables as a large spider crawls over his basket carried over his shoulder, signed on the base in a red-lacquer reserve Gyoku, ; the wood netsuke in the form of three turtles clambering over each other on a large leaf, signed Gekko.
