On June 30, he thanked his correspondent for “I am deeply touched by your sending, and sensitive to the artistic quality of which he offers me the precious testimony! ()” [Claude Rémusat painted a portrait of Cortot in 1957] and concludes his letter by mentioning the students" auditions; on November 10, he again showed his admiration for his work.
