Lot includes the Zello-Punkt Model 21 nose shaper, patented in 1894 and marketed as a non-surgical device to reshape noses through nightly pressure. Its brass frame with screws and leather padding was uncomfortable and largely ineffective. Also included is an early hearing aid device.
Medical devices with wear consistent with age and display including oxidation to metal elements and loss of elasticity to strap. Wooden head stands with grain separations, impressions and scratches. Attractive antique patina. Dimensions listed include base integral to the display.
