This painstakingly carved depiction of a female with a superimposed head on top mirroring the features with gracefully arched coiffure parted down the middle and taken up in twisted braids, lowered eyelids, rounded nostrils and full lips. William Fagg notes, "Often tresses hang from four equi-distant points around the head in apparent imitation of a Victorian hairstyle which could only have been learned from missionary ladies or from magazines."
