Considered a pioneering work of literature in the hardboiled detective genre, it also spawned the 1941 classic film helmed by John Huston, starring Humphrey Bogart as "Sam Spade." Presented in the unique, original vintage 21.25 x 25.5 x 3 in. frame, and retaining important markings on the verso including the Warner Bros. "WB" crest logo, stenciled, "Jack Warner Trophy Room", "Approved Book Cover De Lux", and prop shop or studio inventory numbers. Retaining hanging hardware and ready for display.
